iOS13

I have a question for those of you who have upgraded to 13.3 on an iPhone SE; what is your verdict now on that version after living with it for a few weeks? Learning to live with it? Hate it? I’m particularly interested in whether or not the battery life issues reported for the early versions of 13.x are still present.
Thanks in advance!
My wife has an iPhone (6s, I believe). She had battery issues for the past month or so. At one point, frustrated by Apple’s nagging, she updated from iOS 12.4 to 13.3. The battery problem did not improve. Then she turned Bluetooth off, and her battery performance has returned to what she was used to. I don’t know if this can help with anyone else’s problems, but I thought to offer it.

Does the refurbished iPhone 7 you just bought work correctly for GPS where the other one doesn't? Have you tried a complete erase and reinstall on the older iPhone 7?
Anecdote: My iPhone 8 was showing 15 MPH faster than I was traveling while using Waze or a Speedometer app. After the last iOS update, both issues were resolved.

My iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 13.3 still drains battery much faster than with iOS 12.
My iPhone 7 (vanilla) with iOS 13.3 shows a battery drop of about 10-15% per day, similar to iOS 12.4, and lasts about a week without charging (with moderate/low use).

It was much worse 3 months ago, with iOS 12.4, when Apple turned my Location Services back on. I try to keep that off, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth.

There were several days, one month ago, when the battery drained rapidly. Then, a notification from Photos showed up, telling me it had created new albums of photos from a vacation in South America last year. Afterwards, the battery drained much slower. I assumed that Apple quietly modified something in Photos, but I have no evidence of that. I kept iOS 12.4 until two weeks ago. No serious problems yet....

Migrating to a new (likely refurbished) iPhone SE forced an upgrade to iOS 13.3. Now I no longer see a sync of open Safari tabs between the iPhone and my desktop (Mojave) or my iPad (iOS 12). Handoff appears to still be working for Messages.

The internet is not helpful in terms of answers. Is this just a case of cascading forced updates to play in the Apple garden or is there some easy fix? I do like this feature.

Another iOS 13 issue I see is freezing of the Mail app trigged by the "undo typing" message (which is somehow the result of an inadvertent touch). Sometimes the Mail screen behind the "undo" message is black. A force quit (swipe up) fixes the problem.

I had the same problem. Apple added encryption in iOS 13 and Safari 13, so Safari Tabs no longer work across generations.
Apple said:
Set up and use iCloud Tabs
iCloud Tabs works between devices running iOS 13 or iPadOS and macOS Mojave 10.14.4 or later, or between devices running iOS 12 or earlier and macOS Mojave 10.14.3 or earlier.
As usual, their solution to fix this is to upgrade all of your devices, or buy new ones if they cannot be upgraded.

Just a follow-up here, because the behavior is so bizarre. The alert messages have been, I think, asking about "undo read" and the underlying screen is either completely dark or very, very dim. However, if I tap on "cancel" multiple times, the underlying screen becomes brighter and brighter until the "cancel" option is finally recognized and the Mail app becomes responsive once again. Maybe this is an easter egg?
